iPhone 5 Release Date: Not Until September

At the announcement time of new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro at WWDC yesterday, Apple unveiled the iOS 6, the new operating system that will endorse into the iPhone 5, and which should be launched in fall this year.

While a new version of IOS is normally presented alongside a new device, many observers expect information on the iPhone 5 as well. However, as usual, the iOS 6 presentation was the occasion to unveil a bunch of numbers confirming the irresistible growth of the iDevice market. In fact, Apple has sold over 365 million iOS devices to date, including mobile phones, MP3 players and tablets.

Exit Google Maps!

In this latest version of iOS, Apple has taken a major step in distancing himself from Google and its "Google Maps" application. Through strategic management of several start-ups specializing in managed services, Apple is now able to run and manage this service without using Google. The Maps application promises an overview function for a bird's eye view of 3D maps, as well as many features with real-time traffic information including vocal assistant Siri.

Towards a better integration of Facebook!

As always, some of the new features presented should integrate better with the social networks. Facebook, for example, has now been integrated more effectively into the OS. Thus, after the integration of Twitter, Facebook will now be present natively in the system. Now you can be able to share photos directly on the social network. Does the iPhone might be able to merge the contacts of multiple standalone applications in one entry? In all cases, it is likely that Apple is trying to extend this integration further than that will offer the HTC Windows Phone 7.5 or Sense.

New features for FaceTime, Siri, icloud, Safari.

The conference vision was apparently iOS 6 review, with FaceTime, which can now be used through both Wi-Fi and 3G. You will no longer need to search for a hotspot to make video calls. Many of the 200 new features cited by Tim Cook during the presentation of iOS 6 concerns settings for Siri to make the application use most flexible as possible. A notable arrival a hands-free car compatible with many embedded systems. The icloud will be set in iOS 6 with new features like a shared photo streams to share content with several predefined contacts iOS / MacOS. In addition, Safari gets a function of offline reading and a new button "Do Not Disturb" also came in iOS6 , to stay connected to 3G while masking the calls, SMS and other notifications.

iPhone 5 Release Date?

No release date has been confirmed for iOS 6 in yesterday's conference. The official press release states that the update will be available free in the fall (which should match the release of the iPhone 5 ). Therefore we have to wait more until at least October or November in order to obtain the highly anticipated iPhone 5! Apple has confirmed that iOS 6 will be compatible with iPhone 3GS/4/4S, iPad 2, the new iPad and iPod Touch above the fourth generation.

So what you think when iPhone 5 will launch? My guess is that it will launch at the same time when iPhone 4S released last year.
